‘Injustice 2’: Red Hood Trailer Released Online

InjusticeWarner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios has released the first trailer for Red Hood who will be included in the upcoming Fighter Pack 1 DLC for DC’s latest fighting game Injustice 2.

Included with Red Hood in Fighter Pack 1 will be Starfire and Sub-Zero. Fighter Pack 1 will be available soon for players who purchased either the Digital Deluxe Edition or the Ultimate Edition of the video game.

In addition to the Red Hood trailer, the official website for Injustice 2 has been updated with the bio for Jason Todd revealing the character’s backstory:

“Jason Todd once served as Batman’s second protégé “Robin” before being brutally murdered by The Joker. Years later, the powerful healing waters of the Lazarus Pit brought Jason Todd back to life. However the power of the pit comes at a cost, and a change takes hold in Jason. He now uses mantle of the Red Hood to wage a lethal war on crime.”

Injustice 2 is now available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Today, Americans across the country celebrate Memorial Day. Now many just use this day as a means to enjoy the day off by either going to cook outs, or hanging at the nearest beach/amusement park/pool, marking the unofficial start of the summer season for everyone. However, the real meaning behind the Federal Holiday is to take time to remember fallen soldiers who have died in service of our country. For some, it’s a day of remembrance, solemn reflection, and a chance to grieve as well. For everyone across the country, we here at Heroic Hollywood would like to wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day.

We here at Heroic Hollywood, as we live in a world of superheroes and their cinematic film adaptations also see some of these characters as our modern-day myths. While they are not heroic as true soldiers who die in service of their countries, they are heroic in their own right. So in remembrance of today’s holiday, we wanted to take a look at heroes within the various superhero cinematic universes that died heroically in their roles.
