The latest trailer for the final season of Game of Thrones has been released and fans took to Twitter to reveal what they have to say about the new footage.

Game of Thrones is finally coming to an end this year. The hit HBO series began in 2011 and after almost a decade, it has finally reached the climax of its massive story. Though the book series has yet to conclude, the TV series will be giving a definitive ending to its story before premiering the upcoming prequel spin-off series.

The first six seasons of Game of Thrones featured ten episodes roughly an hour in length. The new season of the series will only have six episodes for fans to divulge in before it concludes. The only other season of the series to not feature ten episodes was the seventh season, which only ran for seven episodes.
