Iron Fist stars Finn Jones and Jessica Henwick recently opened up about which other Marvel characters they’d be down to play.
Over the years, plenty of actors have played multiple comic book characters in movies and TV. Josh Brolin has played Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, Cable in Deadpool 2, and the titular DC character in 2010’s Jonah Hex. Ryan Reynolds infamously headlined Green Lantern before starring in Deadpool, and even Brandon Routh has gone from Superman in Superman Returns to Todd in Scott Pilgrim vs the World and now he’s The Atom on The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow.
These are only a few of the actors who have done this and now that Iron Fist has been canceled, stars Finn Jones and Jessica Henwick would be down for some comic book redemption. The two actors recently attended Rhode Island Comic-Con, and fans can see how they responded when asked about other Marvel characters they’d love to play. First off, Henwick revealed that there’s a Spider-Man character that she’d love to play, if not a supervillain.
“I think I would. I’d love to play a super villain, or Silk. Silk is cool.”
Jones then revealed that he’d like to play a character who has already had multiple appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“I’d love to play Howard the Duck.”
There’s word that Iron Fist could still appear in other Marvel Netflix series. Hopefully, fans will be able to see more of Finn Jones as the Immortal Iron Fist in the future but until then, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding the character as soon as more information becomes available.
