Fan Spots Potential Hidden Captain Marvel Hint In ‘Iron Man 2’

Captain Marvel Iron Man Brie LarsonReddit user esgeo may have spotted a Captain Marvel reference in the Iron Man 2.

Captain Marvel will transport audiences back to the ’90s before Tony Stark made his debut as Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Carol Danvers will encounter some familiar faces when she returns to Earth, including Nick Fury and Phil Coulson. Now, one fan suggests that Coulson may actually be referring to Captain Marvel during an exchange in which the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent informs Tony that the organization may not depend on him as much as the billionaire believes.

If Coulson knows Captain Marvel, then this scene makes even more sense from marvelstudios

In all likelihood, the comment could just be a dig at Iron Man’s expense but what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

Fans can see Carol Danvers meet the S.H.I.E.L.D. team when her solo movie hits theaters next month.
