On-set photos from It: Chapter 2 have leaked and they feature Bill Hader’s Richie Tozier getting a little too close for comfort to Pennywise.
The reboot of It that hit theaters last year has helped the horror genre to find a macabre resurgence. After years of substandard, trite, and cliche outings, horror producers and storytellers have seemingly adapted themselves to modern tastes and sensibilities are churning out blockbuster after blockbuster just about every month. Leading that front is that extra-dimensional menace, Pennywise and thanks to his strong box-office performance, we will be getting a sequel to the first film in just under a year.
It: Chapter 2 production is already well underway and thanks to the Twitter account for Movie Coroner, a UK based movie news site, we have our first glimpse of Bill Hader’s, Richie Tozier, and Bill Skarsgard’s, Pennywise. The Tweet is seen below:

There isn’t much in the way of plot spoilers or context, as is the nature of most candid set photos, but horror fans are getting their first taste of what to come in the sequel and is sure to drum up some excitement for the film. Plus, Bill Hader has one of the best facials in the business and the scares he’s emoting are hilarious.
