Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi suits up as the DCEU’s Nightwing in a new piece of fan art that imagines the future of Warner Bros. and DC’s cinematic universe.
Despite Warner Bros. putting a Nightwing feature into development for the DCEU in early 2017, there has been no movement on the project in quite some time. The film was expected to revolve around Dick Grayson, who became the first Robin after Batman took him in after his parents The Flying Graysons were murdered at a circus. The studio had attached The LEGO Batman helmer Chis McKay to direct the project from a script written by The Accountant scribe Bill Dubuque. While that movie no longer seems to be happening at Warners, that’s not enough to stop fans from imagining what Nightwing could look like when he eventually makes his debut in the DCEU.
One actor who seems to be emerging as a fan favorite for the role of Nightwing is Euphoria star Jacob Elordi. Thanks to digital artist Dalton Barrett, fans can get an idea of what Jacob Elordi would look like as Nightwing for the DCEU. You can check out the artwork of Jacob Elordi suited up as Nightwing below.
Jacob Elordi is best known for playing Noah Flynn in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth and Nate Jacobs in HBO’s Euphoria. In addition to reprising his role in a sequel to The Kissing Booth, Jacob Elordi is also expected to return for the second season of Euphoria.

There have been no rumors of Nightwing showing up in The Batman, but fans are still hopeful the film could introduce a young Dick Grayson. Plot details for The Batman are being kept under lock and key, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that reportedly includes Catwoman and The Penguin. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of his detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC Comics movies. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new Batman trilogy with Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight.
Matt Reeves’ The Batman is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC Films. The list also includes The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, The Suicide Squad, Black Adam, Supergirl, and New Gods.
The Batman is set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned to for the latest news on Jacob Elordi, Euphoria, Nightwing, Batman and the future of the DCEU!
