New set photos have revealed Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang look for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.
Just Jared released a collection of new set photos from The Suicide Squad, and some of these photos give us our first true glimpse at Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang on the set of the DC Comics film. In typical comic book movie fashion, we see that Captain Boomerang receives an updated look with a new jacket and beanie as he joins with the rest of his new Suicide Squad team members.

Jai Courtney is one of the few actors from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad film that are returning for James Gunn’s new take on the DC Comics team of supervillains. Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang will be returning alongside Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller and Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flag.

The first Suicide Squad followed a team of supervillains who were recruited by the government for a dangerous black ops mission in exchange for reduced sentences. James Gunn is expected to deliver on the fresh take on the team in his upcoming movie, with Idris Elba playing a new character on the team, David Dastmalchian starring as Polka-Dot Man, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher, and Steve Agee voicing King Shark. Other cast members confirmed for the ensemble picture include John Cena, Storm Reid, Flula Borg, Nathan Fillion, Taika Waititi, Peter Capaldi, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Mayling Ng, Jennifer Holland, Pete Davidson, Juan Diego Botto, Alice Braga, Tinashe Kajese, Julio Ruiz, and Joaquín Cosío.

DC Universe Debuts ‘Doom Patrol’ Character Posters
Along with the premiere of the first teaser for Doom Patrol, DC Universe also debuted a collection of character posters for each of the members of perhaps the strangest team of characters to be adapted in live-action form for DC Comics.
In particular, these new character posters highlight Timothy Dalton's The Chief, Diane Guerrero's Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade's Cyborg, April Bowlby's Elasti-Woman, Matt Bomer's Negative Man and Brendan Fraser's Robotman. These posters each follow unique designs that reflect the nature of each character and tease unique personalities amongst the group as well.
