‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Detail Proves Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio Survived

Jake Gyllenhaal Mysterio Tom Holland Spider-Man: No Way Home Hyundai

A new theory hints that Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio will return against Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in a future film.

While Jake Gyllenhaal recently dodged questions about Mysterio and his appearance in the Sinister Six, one fan has supposedly found evidence that Mysterio is still alive and will come back to plague Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. In the climactic battle at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Mysterio supposedly died from a bullet fired by one of the drones before framing Peter Parker in a posthumous video released to The Daily Bugle.

But a fan on Reddit theorizes that since Mysterio’s suit had been digitally created by his team and that during the fight on the bridge, Jake Gyllenhaal’s villain didn’t have time to make the video that eventually outed Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to the world, he survived. Meanwhile, Jake Gyllenhaal recently dodged a question about Mysterio returning in a Sinister Six film, joking that he couldn’t answer the question — before reiterating that Mysterio was dead. Could this all be a bluff to see Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio go up against Tom Holland’s Spider-Man once again on the big screen? Take a look at the theory below.

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but Mysterio’s team specifically CGied his suit in for the news. Plus Mysterio never had time to record a video leaking Peter’s identity, he’d had to have done it after he faked his death! from marvelstudios
