Jameela Jamil has posted a behind-the-scenes photo of her training for Marvel’s upcoming She-Hulk series.

The Good Place breakout star Jameela Jamil has been tapped to play the villain Titania in Marvel’s upcoming She-Hulk series. The Disney Plus series is officially in production, with a release date set for sometime next year. Seeing as Jamil will be taking on She-Hulk, one of the strongest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor has to get in tip-top shape to fend off the green hero.

Just as production is ramping up for the series, Jameela Jamil posted a behind-the-scenes photo of her training so she can get into villain shape. In the photo, Jamil is seen stretching. Jamil’s character Titania is best remembered as a wrestler turned villain in the comics. It appears to be seen in what capacity Jamil’s character will be present as Tim Roth’s Abomination is also slated to appear in the She-Hulk series. Roth last appeared as Abomination in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. It wouldn’t be surprising to see if Abomination brought Titania under his wing and they joined forces together to stop She-Hulk and Bruce Banner’s Hulk, who is also slated to appear in the series.

In the comics, She-Hulk is the alter-ego of Jennifer Walters, a private attorney and the cousin of Bruce Banner. After being shot, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from Bruce who was the only viable donor. The transfusion had the unintended side effect of transforming her into the gamma-powered She-Hulk. However, unlike most incarnations of Bruce Banner’s Hulk, Jennifer Walters retains her sharp wit and emotional control in her She-Hulk form, which later becomes permanent.

Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films includes The EternalsShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten RingsDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films and She-Hulk series, Marvel Studios is developing several shows for Disney Plus, including LokiWhat If…?HawkeyeMs. Marvel, and Moon Knight.

She-Hulk is currently slated for a 2022 release on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Marvel’s upcoming Disney Plus original series and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content!
