‘Justice League’: James Gunn Shares His Reaction To Trailer

Director James Gunn is nothing but friendly on Twitter, always taking the time to answer fan questions and give more information about the behind-the-scenes stuff he’s been working on.

On Twitter earlier tonight, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director was asked if he had seen the new Justice League trailer. His response was this: “I saw it a looooong time ago. I really like it.”

It’s not surprising that Gunn had already seen the Justice League trailer, even though his next movie is a Marvel project. Many fans love pitting Marvel and DC against each other, for some reason reluctant to concede that both companies have their highs and lows when it comes to their cinematic films and their TV offerings. What is nice is that Gunn answered politely and said that he liked the trailer.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, J.K. Simmons as Jim Gordon, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Julian Lewis Jones, and Willem Dafoe are also set to appear.

Justice League will be in theaters November 17, 2017.
