James Gunn answers a question… hmmm? from marvelstudios

James Gunn is in a unique scenario that many aspiring genre filmmakers could only dream of: he can say that he directed for both Marvel and DC. Obviously, he helped bring Marvel’s previously-obscure Guardians of the Galaxy characters to the big screen, turning the ragtag group of characters into household names. Right now, he is directing The Suicide Squad for the DC Extended Universe and with his involvement in both franchises, it’s interesting to hear that he sees that a DC vs. Marvel movie is possible.

If Warner Bros. and Disney were somehow able to come into an agreement to bring such a film to life, perhaps James Gunn is the perfect candidate to direct that film as well.
