The Suicide Squad director James Gunn revealed that he also had two other DC Films projects in mind.
By now, nearly everyone is familiar with the unfortunate circumstances that led to James Gunn being fired from Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (he would later be re-hired) and subsequently being tapped to helm The Suicide Squad for DC Films. However, it appears James Gunn had other DC Films projects in mind aside from The Suicide Squad.
During a Q&A session on Instagram, James Gunn confirmed that he had two other DC Films projects in mind, but noted that maybe fans will find out what they were some other day. Furthermore, James Gunn noted that he is aware of some details on the upcoming DC films.

The first Suicide Squad followed a team of supervillains who were recruited by the government for a dangerous black ops mission in exchange for reduced sentences. The ensemble cast included Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker. However, James Gunn is expected to deliver on the fresh take on the Suicide Squad in his upcoming movie.
