Production on the latest installment of the Halloween franchise is currently underway and Jamie Lee Curtis has shared a new image from the set of the anticipated horror film.
Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise her iconic role as Laurie Strode in a brand new Halloween film that disregards all previous sequels and will be set forty years after the original horror classic. Now, Curtis has shared a new image from the set of the Halloween sequel that suggests Laurie will be carrying a .357 magnum. Posted on her official Twitter account, the image features a target practice sheet and is accompanied by the following caption:

Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Directed by David Gordon Green, the film also stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner, Miles Robbins, Dylan Arnold, Drew Scheid and Nick Castle. The project is being produced by Malek Akkad with John Carpenter, Green, Danny McBride, and Jason Blum serving as executive producers.
Halloween will be released in theaters on October 19, 2018.
