The first official trailer for Halloween Ends, the final installment in the Halloween franchise, sees Jamie Lee Curtis return as Laurie Strode to face off with Michael Myers one last time.

Halloween Ends is set four years after the events of Halloween Kills, which hit the big screen last year. It will see Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie writing a memoir while living with her granddaughter, Andi Matichak’s Allyson, when Michael Myers strikes again.

The film will conclude the franchise that started in 1978, with the release of the original Halloween, which first saw Jamie Lee Curtis play Laurie.

‘Come On, Let’s Go!’

The new trailer sees Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie armed and ready for Myers as he arrives in her home. Chilling and violent scenes ensue as the two enemies face off once more.

As well as teasing a showdown between Laurie and Michael Myers, the trailer offers glimpses of other unwitting victims in Myers’ line of fire. There are glimpses of the iconic horror villain pouncing on a various new young victims and emerging from a burning building.

The trailer ends with Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie taunting Michael Myers, telling him “Come get me, motherf***er,” before a fight ensues that sees her stabbing Myers in the hand. Check out the trailer below:

The film follows a string of recent new entries in the Halloween franchise, following its 2018 relaunch with the new Halloween, the predecessor to last year’s Halloween Kills. The trailer promises this latest film will deliver a definitive ending to the saga of Laurie Strode and Michael Myers.

Here is the synopsis for the last film in the series, Halloween Kills:

Minutes after Laurie Strode, her daughter Karen, and granddaughter Allyson left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. Evil dies tonight.
