Jared Leto Addresses Viral ‘Morbius’ Meme With Hilarious Video

MorbiusMania can't be stopped!

Jared Leto Morbius

Jared Leto shared a hilarious video as Morbius memes continue to take over the internet.

Jared Leto’s Morbius wasn’t the hit Sony was looking for, with a gross of $163 million and a 17% on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite all the negativity, the Marvel film has become a phenomenon online with various memes, so much so that Sony has released the movie in theaters again.

It’s Morbin’ Time!

While a Morbius sequel is looking unlikely at this time, Jared Leto took to social media to finally address the meme with a new video. The video shared on Twitter finds Leto reading a fake script for Morbius 2: It’s Morbin’ Time. You can watch the video for yourself below.

In reality, Jared Leto’s Morbius might not be getting the sequel treatment. However, Sony is still developing a slew of Marvel projects focused on Kraven the Hunter, Madame Web, Spider-Woman, and El Muerto, plus another Venom film.

Here is the synopsis for Morbius:

One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed and transforms this healer into a hunter.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa from a script written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Morbius stars Jared Leto, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach produced the project with Lucas Foster, with Palak Patel overseeing it for Sony.

Morbius is back in theaters, available on Digital, and will hit DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD on June 14. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news regarding Jared Leto’s Living Vampire, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
