Jason Momoa Aquaman The Crow Justice League Zack Snyder Cut

Resurfaced test footage shows off Aquaman star Jason Momoa as The Crow for the planet reboot.

Before Zack Snyder tapped Jason Momoa to be the King of Atlantis, the Game of Thrones alum was set to star in The Crow reboot as the titular character. The production was almost a sure thing, with director Colin Hardy brought in to helm the reimagining. With a supporting cast in tow, the film was ready to begin production but financial and script issues stopped The Crow Reborn from ever lifting its wings.

Many have wondered what The Crow Reborn would have looked like, especially with Jason Momoa as the titular character. While we’ve seen him play the enigmatic but cheery Aquaman, it would have been an absolute treat to see him portray the more ruminative and melancholic The Crow. Luckily, we have a glimpse of what the Aquaman star would have looked like thanks to test footage that has recently resurfaced.

The test footage has received a positive reception from fans across the web. With a reignited interest in the property, it’s possible that The Crown Reborn could get another life, with Jason Momoa back in the lead role.

Here is the synopsis for the first Aquaman film:

From Warner Bros.
