Aquaman star Jason Momoa recently joked that Warner Bros. might fire him over his comments regarding the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.

Fans have known that the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League exists for some time now and Aquaman star Jason Momoa is the latest individual who has seen it. In a recent interview to promote his Apple TV+ series See on MTV NEWS , the Aquaman star stated that Warner Bros. should allow the public to see the Zack Snyder cut. However, Jason Momoa said that, he quickly made a joke stating that he’s pretty sure Warner Bros. will fire him because of the comments.

“I might be fired now.”

Obviously, there is no way Warner Bros. is going to fire Jason Momoa considering he is headlining one of the DC Extended Universe’s most profitable characters with Aquaman. He’ll most likely get a slap on the wrist from Warner Bros. for publicly discussing the Zack Snyder cut, if anything.

The Zack Snyder cut of Justice League has dominated the internet for the past two years, with fans rallying together in hopes that Warner Bros. will eventually release it. With news that Aquaman star Jason Momoa has seen the film and is hoping fans get to see it, Warner Bros. should be more compelled to release the Zack Snyder cut to the world.

Jason Momoa is set to reprise his role as Aquaman in the character’s second cinematic solo outing. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is working on the script for Aquaman 2 and James Wan expected to return to the director’s chair. For now, fans can rewatch Jason Momoa as Aquaman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Here is the official synopsis for the movie:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
