The first trailer for Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife has arrived online.
Fans got their first look at Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife when the trailer surfaced online showing a new era of Ghost busting set decades after the original films. It follows McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd as a new generation discover that their Grandfather was one of the original Ghostbusters — and set out to follow in his footsteps when a supernatural darkness rises in their small town. The trailer was an instant hit with fans thanks to its comedic style and references to the originals.

When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
Directed by Jason Reitman from a script he co-wrote with Gil Kena, Ghostbusters: Afterlife stars Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, Bokeem Woodbine, Oliver Cooper, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 10, 2020.
