Wright made his debut as the CIA operative in 2006’s Casino Royale. He is the eighth actor to play the character of Leiter who has appeared in a total of 9 Bond films produced by EON Productions including Dr. No, Goldfinger, Thunderball and most recently in Quantum of Solace.
Official word on the status of Bond 25 currently remains unknown. Things do, however, seem to be ramping up as Daniel Crag was recently reported to be close to committing to return for another outing as 007. Craig’s co-star Naomi Harris also believes there is a good chance Craig will return.
Bond veteran screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are all but confirmed to have penned the script for the next installment. EON Productions is also rumored to be targeting Croatia for production. Christoph Waltz is also contracted to return as Ernst Stavro Blofeld for another two films should the story call for it.
