Lucy Lane actress Jenna Dewan is set to reprise her Supergirl role in the upcoming season of Superman and Lois.
While Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman and Elizabeth Tullock’s Lois Lane debuted in other Arrowverse shows, their spin-off series hasn’t featured too many connections to the greater CW universe. The only major connection in the first season was the appearance of David Ramsey as John Diggle.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, another familiar face from a different Arrowverse show is set to appear in Superman and Lois season two. That face will be Jenna Dewan, who is back as Lois’ sister, Lucy Lane, in the show’s sophomore season after appearing in the first season of Supergirl.
While the Melissa Benoist-led series concludes this month, Superman and Lois is just getting started, with the next season hitting The CW next year. The DC series also recently added Teen Wolf star Ian Bohen to its cast.
Here is the synopsis for the series:
Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch star as Superman & Lois, the world’s most famous superhero and comic books’ most famous journalist, as they return to Smallville to face their greatest challenge ever – dealing with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.
In addition to Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, the series stars Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as the sons of the titular characters, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, and Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing. Written by The Flash‘s Todd Helbing, the series will be executive produced by Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.
Superman and Lois will return in 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the Arrowverse, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content in the future!
