Jeremy Irons Will Return For ‘Justice League’

imageIt’s been a hectic 24 hours for DC Fans. With some believable and unbelievable DC movie news surfacing, one would assume the worst is happening. The Flash lost its Director, Seth Grahame Smith. According to different sources, Smith was removed due to his inexperience or it was because of creative differences(whichever you want to believe). Then a few minutes later a new report from BirthMoviesDeath hit film Twitter, stating that James Wan was feeling trepidation about directing Aquaman. DC Films is rumored to be in a bit of a crisis*.

The next film on the slate, Justice League, has begun filming and a lot of the Batman family is set to appear in the film. Batman himself, Commissioner Gordon(J.K. Simmons) and now Jeremy Irons has confirmed to Showbiz 411, that he will return as Alfred in Justice League. This isn’t much of a shock, considering how important Batman is in this film. He’s gonna be the one who Unites the seven members of the Justice League and with Superman dead, he’ll going to definitely need to because of what’s coming from his visions.

Are you excited about Jeremy Irons’ return? For you think he played a good Alfred in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Sound off in the comments section.

Justice League is currently being Directed by Zack Snyder and will star Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amber Heard as Mera, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. Justice League is currently scheduled to hit theaters November 17th, 2017!

With using rumors as the lead-in for this article, you totally sucked the enjoyment right out of it.

I feel ya’, bruh! After all, this was suppose the year of dc rising from the ashes of that disappointin’ MOS like the Phoenix of Legend, and thus far it has flamed out with an already forgotten flicker.

Well in the words of Yoda to the ghost of Obi-Wan: “NO, THERE IS ANOTHER ONE!”

All your hopes of 2016 redeemin’ itself lies with The Suicide Squad…You’ll be in my prayers, Sammy.

  • Origami Rose

Justice League? is that still happening. DCEU launched in MoS and crashed in BvS.

    • SAMURAI36

Wow, where do they find you idiots from.

    • Marquis de Sade

Yeah, they’re probably shooting second unit stuff while Affleck and Geoff Johns are doing some script tuning so there won’t be an embarrassing repeat ala BVS. WB/DCEU can ill-afford another train wreck of that magnitude again. LOL!

Irons’ stuff was some of the best stuff in BvS, but honestly, no. I’m not excited. Even putting aside the recent DC rumblings, it’s very difficult to be optimistic about the Justice League they have put in motion. They had trouble figuring out how to make what should have been a straightforward and mostly contained BvS story into 2.5 hours (many of us would say they failed to pull it off), and now the same people are in charge of having to assemble the Justice League using characters who haven’t even been properly introduced, resurrect Superman, and introduce Darkseid all in the same amount of time? I know that there are people here who enjoyed BvS a great deal more than the public at large, but DC is in trouble, and I don’t think WB has any idea about how to save it.

    • SAMURAI36

Should I be even remotely surprised that this is your critique?

      • Marquis de Sade

        You need a hug, huh?

      • breakerbaker

Surprising you is rarely my motivation. But no matter how much you wished it wasn’t so, the reaction to BvS was not positive. You can be as mad as you want at people for not liking it, but it’s not going to change the fact that this is how it is. And at some point, DC is going to have to start pleasing the broader audience, and WB has not yet shown that they’re able to do it.

        • SAMURAI36

Looks like someone needs a reality check, from that same old, tired narrative they have bought into.

You wanna keep trying to speak definitively about the audience response to this film, despite the FACT that none of the facts support what you said.

          So here are the FACTS:

–BVS has a positive response. Perhaps not overwhelmingly positive, but positive nonetheless.

–WB never once promised to “please the broader audience”, which just means more juvenile jokes and teenage dialogue. In fact, they gave us precisely what they promised, which is a dense, dark, gritty film.

–BVS has done better financially than 90% of those films that you claim are “pleasing to the general audience”.

So as you said, you can be as mad as you want at these facts, but:

it’s not going to change the fact that this is how it is.

          • Marquis de Sade

LOL! I gotta hand it to ya’, Sammy, no one does IN DENIAL as well as you do. Heck, you’ve turned it into an artform!

          • breakerbaker

Dude, I’m not going to argue with somebody who has the emotional maturity of a 12-year-old. I’ve spent way too much of my time on you as it is. Like so many fans and political supporters, you live in an echo chamber you are desperate to stay inside. You believe in things out of sheer will. You want to believe the response to BvS was mostly positive, so you do believe it’s mostly positive. It makes you look ridiculous, but you don’t want to believe that, so you won’t. It sounds like a convenient way to experience life. Not wanting to appear pathological myself, I’m going to continue to go with the world as it is rather than what I would desperately like it to be. Because I’ve seen what that looks like. It looks very, very dumb.

I’m going to hope Suicide Squad is solid, but I’m not going to be super optimistic about Wonder Woman, and I’m done even pretending there’s any chance the crew who ran BvS has any hope of pulling off Justice League.

          • SAMURAI36

Ah, and there it is… The insults. I knew you’d drop the intellectual facade eventually.

You’re in no position to critique anyone’s psychological acumen. Doing so makes you the hippest critter I know.

And you can keep your jaundiced view of the world. You can’t substantiate a single thing you’ve said (above BVS, the DCEU, or anything else, for that matter).

You can believe what you want, but repeating the same nonsense over and over doesn’t make it true. Nor does calling someone crazy and stupid make what they are saying false.

I’d tell you to PROVE what you are saying (sans all the ad hominem), but we both know you can’t, just like we both know that you are just as guilty as you accuse me of being, of believing what you wanna believe.

You don’t have any sort of high ground here, and you never have.

If you wanna hate on DC, feel free. You have plenty of other idiots here to keep you company. But don’t think for a single military second, that you are gonna get away with typing these verbose soliloquys, and think that they’ll be left unchecked.

And I don’t care how much you throw a verbal tantrum about it.

          • JMMagwood

LOL There’s only four or five troll brained jack holes on this site, but they sure type the same stuff a lot! It really burns them that someone liked this film. Amazing. I still say if you ignore the lonely freaks, they’ll go away, but I know you feel someone must challenge their silly opinions. Seriously, they’re jokes.

          • SAMURAI36

Trust me… It may not seem like it, but there’s a method to my madness.

Most of these trolls have been reduced to making mindless statements. This last one is about there as well. He’s running on intellectual fumes as we speak. Once the insults start, the fat lady has all but sung, and then I’ll sit back and watch these guys shuck and dance for my attention.

Dude, you should know that when you write something that’s more than three sentences long, I’ve stopped reading to the end. I no longer see the need to make believe that I respect your opinion. Nothing about the way you carry on is worthy of the minimal energy it takes to read your words.
