Avengers star Jeremy Renner reveals his Ronin tattoos in a new behind-the-scenes image from the Hawkeye Disney Plus series.
With Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye currently in production, the star revealed a new image of his look for the Disney Plus series on Instagram. The show will team the Avengers hero up with Kate Bishop as he (presumably) passes the Hawkeye mantle over to her. The recent photos from the Brooklyn set revealed Hailee Steinfeld in the role alongside Lucky the Pizza Dog, as well as showing off Steinfeld’s Avengers-style purple outfit as the new archer.
As many fans will remember, following the death of his family at the start of Avengers: Endgame, Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton became a vicious killer known as Ronin. He eviscerated gangsters, cartels and the Yakuza in a twisted form of revenge since they survived the snap and his loved ones didn’t. During the five-year gap from Infinity War, the archer also filled his arm with a moody tattoo sleeve. Renner took to Instagram to show that the Ronin tattoos are back for the Hawkeye series, but it’ll be interesting to see how he justifies his brutal actions to Kate Bishop. Take a look at the Ronin image from the Avengers star below.
