Could Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye get his own series?
Netflix has picked up a lot of Marvel shows. Starting withย Daredevil and working its way up toย The Defenders, one could argue that the superhero shows on the streaming service are far more fleshed out story and character-wise than any film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While promoting his latest film,ย Arrival, in theaters November 11, Jeremy Renner was asked by IGN onย whether or not heโd be down to do a Netflix series involving around Hawkeye.
โI donโt know the practicality of that, but I always love, any of these characters that I play, I love to dig into them more. I never feel like I get enough time with any of the characters I play, and thatโs one of them.โ
Itโs interesting that this question keeps getting tossed around about whether or not Hawkeye could have his own series. Jeremy Renner sounds like heโd be interested in it though, at least in terms of continuing to delve into his character.
Itโd be far more intriguing to see him in a guest spot onย Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.ย where he could be more developedย and instead give Scarlett Johanssonโs Black Widow a series or solo film.
Jeremy Renner will next be seen as Hawkeye in Avengers: Infinity War, which will be in theaters May 4, 2018.
