Avengers: Infinity War isn’t as far off as we think it is. While production isn’t underway yet, Anthony and Joe Russo are probably already knee-deep in all aspects of the Marvel film.

While promoting his new film, Arrival, Jeremy Renner was asked if he knows anything about Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. He says that he doesn’t know anything, but jokes that his character, Hawkeye, might already be dead.

“If I knew anything, I still couldn’t tell you. But I don’t know anything. I      know there’s Infinity wars, I know Avengers 3 and are happening. But I don’t know outside of my involvement or anything else. I can’t tell you! What if I’m dead in the first one? I don’t know. I might already be dead.”

Jeremy Renner continued, discussing the Russo brothers and all the great ideas that they have for the upcoming Avengers project.

“I know the talks are what it’s about. Sounded fantastic. The Russo brothers have got some really great ideas and they’re following certain parts of Infinity Wars. And there’s some really exciting stuff for a lot of the characters, especially with… what they’re thinking about doing with Hawkeye especially I’m pretty excited about.”

Joss Whedon helmed The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron and now the Russo brothers, who have Captain America: Civil War under their belts, are now taking over the next two Avengers films. There isn’t a lot of information about the films yet, but they most likely have to do with wrapping up the infinity stone storyline that has been running throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

Avengers: Infinity War is in theaters May 4, 2018. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the movie and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
