A new report by Deadline reveals that Netflix is not expected to renew Marvel’s Jessica Jones or The Punisher.
After Netflix canceled Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil, fans began to suspect that The Punisher and Jessica Jones would meet the same fate after their respective new seasons debuted on the streaming service. While stressing there has been no official word on the future of the two remaining Marvel/Netflix shows, Deadline noted that neither series is expected to be renewed for future seasons:
The expectation is neither the Jon Bernthal vigilante series or the Krysten Ritter-led Jones will be renewed for further cycles – though nothing has been said officially, yet.
The third season of Jessica Jones is expected to debut this summer while fans can watch the second season of The Punisher right now.
