‘Jessica Jones’ Season Two Adds Raelle Tucker As Executive Producer

While we don’t know exactly when to expect the second season of Marvel & Netflix’s hit series Jessica Jones, we do have a small bit of news regarding it. Deadline has revealed that the second season has added Raelle Tucker as an executive producer. Tucker has previously worked on True Blood, Supernatural and The Returned and will work alongside showrunner Melissa Rosenberg on the series. Rosenberg commented on the addition of Tucker and her excitement regarding her joining the team.

We’ve had such an incredible response to our first season on which I’ve been so fortunate to have an extraordinary team all the way down the line from the fellow writers, executive producers, cast and crew. I’m thrilled to have someone as talented as Raelle join our team as writer and executive producer as we delve into Jessica’s continued story.

Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb addtionally commented that he had to “echo Melissa’s gratitude to everyone who worked on Season One — and now adding Raelle’s awesome skills as a writer and executive producer, we’re sure that Season Two will rock.”

Currently the second season of the series is expected to debut post-The Defenders, so it might be a bit of time before we have any further updates for you guys. But here’s hoping that we get some more sooner than later Sound off with your thoughts about the addtion of Tucker in the comments section below.
