Madame X JJ Abrams HBO Max DC Bad Robot Angela Robinson Madame Xanadu

Angela Robinson is set to oversee the upcoming Madame X series set at HBO Max from JJ Abrams and Bad Robot.

Since JJ Abrams departed the Star Wars franchise and signed a massive deal at WarnerMedia, the Bad Robot head has been hard at work on several DC projects. So far, Abrams and Bad Robot have attached themselves to Constantine, Justice League Dark, the Batman: Caped Crusader animated series, and a Superman reboot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Abrams is adding another project to his Justice League Dark lineup with Madame X for HBO Max.

JJ Abrams has also enlisted Angela Robinson to develop the Madame X series, whose credits include Professor Marston & the Wonder Women and The L Word. DC Comics introduced Madame Xanadu back in 1978 as part of the Justice League Dark corner of the universe.
