Joaquin Phoenix Is Absolutely Psychotic In New ‘Joker’ Fan Imagined Motion Poster

Joker Joaquin Phoenix

Joaquin Phoenix looks absolutely psychotic in a new Joker fan imagined motion poster.

Dalton Barret is a self-taught digital artist who creates tons of fan art of our most beloved characters. In this occasion, Barret made a portrait of Joaquin Phoenix in his Joker costume looking like he’s about to go berserk on some poor soul. But that’s not all, he uses the portrait and he creates a couple of motion posters that are very close to the real version of Joaquin Phoenix’ version of the Clown Prince Of Crime:

We’ve been watching leaks from the set of Joker over the past few months and according to various reports, Joaquin Phoenix and Todd Phillips will not disappoint us. Their take on the villainous clown may be a more humane look at how the Joker was created to help us better understand this enigmatic character. This is a rather similar take to what we saw in the famous 1988 one-shot graphic novel The Killing Joke. In the novel, we see the Joker as a failing comedian trying to make a living, but ultimately ends up in a freak accident that turns him into the Joker.

Joker centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.

Directed by Todd Phillips from a script he co-wrote with Scott Silver, Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.

Joker will be released in theaters on October 4, 2019.
