Todd Phillips has surprised fans with six brand new teasers for his upcoming Joker film starring Joaquin Phoenix.
The director took to Instagram today to share six mini teasers for the new Joaquin Phoenix Joker film which he not only directed but co-wrote as well. The new standalone Joker film features an origin story for the Clown Prince of Crime with Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role. The latest teasers also have a coded message which tease a trailer is inbound for August 28th.

Directed by Todd Phillips from a script he co-wrote with Scott Silver, the film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.
“Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.
