Joe Manganiello is the latest Justice League star to support the film’s original director Zack Snyder after Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck’s posts from over the weekend. Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke notably appeared in one of the two post-credits scenes of Justice League. That theatrical cut of Justice League featured a post-credits scene that had Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke meeting Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, with the latter hinting at the formation of the Legion of Doom. In the post-Zack Snyder era, it now seems unlikely that we will end up seeing the Legion of Doom in the foreseeable future given Warner Bros. and DC’s new direction with their films.

Aside from his Justice League appearance, Joe Manganiello was set to reprise the Deathstroke role in Ben Affleck’s The Batman and a standalone movie. Unfortunately, Joe Manganiello’s future as Deathstroke is currently in doubt but that didn’t stop the actor from supporting the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League. Joe Manganiello joined the movement by sharing new behind-the-scenes images of his Deathstroke and Zack Snyder on Instagram. You can check them out below.

What do you think of Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke look? Do you believe we’ll ever see the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League? Sound-off in the comments section!

Here is the official synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Zack Snyder, Joe Manganiello, Deathstroke and the future of the DC Extended Universe.
