Joe Manganiello Sports Legion Of Doom Shirt With ‘Justice League’ Font

Actor Joe Manganiello has shared an image of himself wearing a "Legion of Doom" t-shirt with the same font as the title for the 'Justice League' film.

Initially cast as the mercenary and assassin named Deathstroke in Ben Affleck’s solo Batman film, Joe Manganiello’s future in the DC Extended Universe has been uncertain ever since Affleck stepped down as director and was replaced by Matt Reeves. Now, Joe Manganiello has shared a new photo on his official Twitter account that will likely fuel speculation on what Deathstroke’s future – if any – in the DCEU will be moving forward.

Although Joe Manganiello was set to portray the DC Comics villain in the standalone Batman film, director Matt Reeves confirmed that the project would be starting over with a new story after Ben Affleck stepped out of the director’s chair. To date, there has been no official word on whether or not Deathstroke will still appear in the film or any other DCEU project, leaving fans to speculate for themselves. Now, Joe Manganiello has shared a photograph where he can be seen wearing a “Legion of Doom” t-shirt with the same font as the Justice League movie title.

Of course, comics book fans know that the Legion of Doom is a team of supervillains that has consisted of various members of DC Comics’ rogues gallery through the years. A number of fans have already begun wondering if the t-shirt signifies that Deathstroke could appear as a member of the sinister team in a future DCEU film, although this is merely speculation at this point.
