Joe Russo Reveals His Favorite ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Moment

Following a special fan screening of Avengers: Infinity War, directors Anthony and Joe Russo participated in a special Q&A about the film, in which they also refused to answer any questions about the untitled fourth Avengers film. During the Q&A, Joe Russo revealed what his favorite moment throughout the entire film was, and many fans will certainly agree with this choice.

Joe Russo revealed that his favorite moment of Avengers: Infinity War is the scene in which Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Groot (Vin Diesel) and Rocket (Bradley Cooper) make their explosive arrival into Wakanda as some of Thor’s fellow Avengers continue to battle against Thanos’ army.

This scene is highly-regarded as one of, if not the most cheer-worthy moment throughout not just Avengers: Infinity War, but the entire canon of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Given that the film puts a heavy focus on Thor’s journey following the events of Thor: Ragnarok, to see him arrive with Stormbreaker in hand along with his new friends “Tree” and “Rabbit” is the best type of fan service that can be achieved.

It’s powerful effect is due to how the music swells as Stormbreaker makes its way through Wakanda exhibiting its power and the main melody of the Avengers theme plays triumphantly as Thor, Groot and Rocket make perhaps the coolest entrance in comic book movie history. Also, how can anyone else resist Thor’s exclamation of “Bring me Thanos!”?

Do you agree with Joe Russo? Was the arrival of Thor, Groot and Rocket in Wakanda your favorite moment of Avengers: Infinity War? Sound off in the comments below, and be sure to continue following Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news in the MCU.
