Official ‘Tenet’ Synopsis Reveals John David Washington’s Intriguing Character Name

A new Tenet synopsis reveals new details on the upcoming Christopher Nolan film and John David Washington’s character.

Christopher Nolan pulled back the curtain a little bit on his upcoming film, Tenet, with the release of an action-packed trailer. In true Nolan fashion, the new trailer just had audiences asking more questions about the film. One of the most interesting elements the trailer revealed is that the film is dealing with inversion, not time travel.

The new Tenet trailer also provided a new glimpse at John David Washington along with Robert Pattinson and others. Based on a new synopsis released by Warner Bros. Pictures, it appears that John David Washington’s character will be known as the Protagonist. Not time travel. Inversion.”

Full plot details on Nolan’s Tenet are currently under wraps, though Warner Bros. has officially described the film as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.” Production on Tenet took place across seven countries.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Himesh Patel.
