The teaser trailer for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place: Part II is reportedly screening in theaters this weekend.
In late September, John Krasinski announced production on A Quiet Place: Part II had officially wrapped and fans of the first film have been eager to see the first footage from the sequel. Now, reports across social media are claiming the first teaser for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place: Part II is screening in front of this weekend’s PG-13 releases, Jumanji: The Next Level and Black Christmas.
However, numerous reports indicate the teaser for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place: Part II offers little information on the upcoming sequel. According to those who have seen the preview, the teaser for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place: Part II clocks in at approximately 15 seconds.
A Quiet Place followed a family’s struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by extraterrestrial creatures with an acute sense of hearing, which forced humans to remain silent in order to avoid becoming prey. The story concluded with Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbot preparing to take on the creatures as they invaded the home she took shelter in with her children and husband (who sacrificed himself to save his family) after discovering a way to defeat them.
Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place: Part II stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Djimon Hounsou.
A Quiet Place: Part II is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 20, 2020.
