John Krasinski Becomes Reed Richards For Marvel Studios’ ‘Fantastic Four’ In New Image

Jack Ryan star John Krasinski becomes Reed Richards for Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four in this new artwork that imagines the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ever since Marvel Studios got its hands on Fox-owned properties like Fantastic Four, fans have been anticipating casting news for the members of the iconic team. At this current point, there’s no indication as to who will star in Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four movie or even who will write and direct it. However, Instagram user “spdrmnkyxxii” has an exciting nomination for Reed Richards, the leader of the Fantastic Four. It’s none other than John Krasinski, who has become one of Hollywood’s hottest stars in the past few years. The artist’s latest piece offers fans a look at what John Krasinski could look like as Reed Richards for Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four.

You can see John Krasinski as Reed Richards for Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four in the artwork below.

This is certainly an inspired choice as John Krasinski has yet to play a superhero. In recent years, John Krasinski has become a notable action star and has even begun directing films like A Quiet Place and its upcoming sequel. Certainly a hot commodity, we’re sure a prestigious role like Reed Richards would be worthwhile for John Krasinski.

There’s no current indication as to when Marvel Studios will go forth and bring characters like Reed Richards onto the big screenbut we should have some concrete details in the next few years as Phase 4 officially begins next year. We know Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is hard at work trying to integrate the formerly Fox-owned Marvel properties into the MCU, but we don’t have a timeline as to when The Fantastic Four and the X-Men will be going into the battle alongside the likes of Captain Marvel, Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy. In an interview taken earlier this year, Kevin Feige stated that he’s looking forward to bringing the Fantastic Four to the MCU and hopes that they’re brought to a respected platform.

Do you think John Krasinski could play Reed Richards in Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned for the latest news on John Krasinski and the next Fantastic Four movie.
