John Krasinski Is Open To Working With Marvel Studios

In a recent interview, John Krasinski revealed that he is open to working with Marvel Studios, whether it’s in-front of or behind the camera.

John Krasinski has been a fan-favorite actor to play Mr. Fantastic in the next Fantastic Four film for quite sometime. Now that Marvel Studios has regained the film rights to the Fantastic Four, many people think John Krasinski joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe is becoming closer to reality.

John Krasinski has also become well-known for his work behind the camera after A Quiet Place. While promoting the film’s sequel with Esquire, John Krasinski once again showed his interest in working with Marvel Studios when asked if he’d be down to star in the next Fantastic Four movie.

“I was just about to walk into the worst pun ever, but I was like, that’s a fantastic role. That would be awesome. Marvel wrote the playbook on secrecy and awesome sort of tantalizing lay and wait until everything’s announced. I am not committed to the role or anything, but I don’t know when they’re doing it. But if and when they do it, I would love to talk to them about it.”

As far as directing films beyond the A Quiet Place franchise, John Krasinski doesn’t rule out tackling a Marvel Studios film either:

“If a Marvel movie came along, maybe, or I’m just looking for great stories and great characters really.”
Would you like to see John Krasinski write and star in Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four reboot? Is there another Marvel Studios project you would like to see John Krasinski take on? Sound-off in the comments below!

The first Quiet Place followed a family’s struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by extraterrestrial creatures with an acute sense of hearing, which forced humans to remain silent in order to avoid becoming prey. The story concluded with Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbot preparing to take on the creatures as they invaded the home she took shelter in with her children and husband (who sacrificed himself to save his family) after discovering a way to defeat them.

Here is the official synopsis for John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place Part II:

Following the events at home, the Abbott family now face the terrors of the outside world. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realize the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats lurking beyond the sand path.

Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place Part II stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Djimon Hounsou.

A Quiet Place Part II is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 20, 2020. Also stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news from Marvel Studios!
