John Visits The Vatican In ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Deleted Scene

A deleted scene released from John Wick: Chapter 2 sees John Wick (Keanu Reeves) visiting The Vatican during his time in Rome.

John WickYahoo Movies has premiered an exclusive deleted scene from John Wick: Chapter 2 featuring John (Keanu Reeves) visiting The Vatican during his time in Rome.

While it’s interesting to involve The Vatican itself in the underground world of assassins established by both the sequel and its predecessor, it’s understandable why the scene was cut as it would have been a rather uneventful lull in the otherwise pulse-pounding pace of the neo-noir action thriller.

You can check out the deleted scene below.

The film also stars Common, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, and Lawrence Fishburne. Here’s the official synopsis:

Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. Lionsgate’s “John Wick: Chapter 2” arriving in theaters on February 10, 2017.

John Wick: Chapter 2 will be released on Digital HD on May 23 followed by the 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD release on June 13 and don’t miss the Tribute To Those Killed By John Wick live on Facebook May 23, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m PST.
