This Friday, iconic action star Keanu Reeves returns as John Wick in John Wick: Chapter 2. John is once again forced back out of retirement when a former associate who has sworn a blood oath to plots to overtake a shadowy international assassins guild, taking John to Rome and putting him in the crosshairs himself this time around.
Ahead of the Super Bowl tonight, Lionsgate aired an action-packed look at the upcoming sequel to 2014’s surprise hit action thriller. You can check it out below.
UPDATE: Lionsgate has released a second Super Bowl spot for the film ahead of tonight’s big game.
Chad Staheliski, co-director of the first film along with David Leitch, returns as the sole director for the sequel.
The film also stars Common, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, and Ian Mcshane, and Lawrence Fishburne. Here’s the official synopsis:
