‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Production Designer Returning For Sequel

Omega Underground is reporting that John Wick: Chapter 2 production designer Kevin Kavanaugh will be returning for the third film. Kavanaugh has an extensive resume that also includes The Dark Knight Rises, Nightcrawler, Only The Brave, and Sicario 2: Soldado.

David Kolstad has returned to script the third installment of the neo-noir action thriller franchise starring Keanu Reeves. Kolstad wrote both the first John Wick and the sequel Chapter 2. The screenwriter developed the script with John Wick co-director Chad Stahelski who returned to helm the sequel solo and is reported to be directing the third film as well.

Lionsgate is targeting a fall start for principal photography on the film. The story will follow John attempts to escape from New York now that he is officially excommunicado from The Continental with a contract on his head.

John Wick: Chapter 2 is currently available on Digital HD as well as 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD. Chapter 3 has been dated for release on May 17, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the series.
