Fantastic Beasts star Johnny Depp was accused by Mera star Amber Heard of domestic abuse during their brief marriage, which has led to a high-profile lawsuit between the now-divorced duo. The controversy has overshadowed Johnny Depp’s role as Grindelwald in the Harry Potter prequel series, which places Johnny Depp as the primary antagonist.
Recently, Johnny Depp’s 1999 star on the Walk of Fame has been defaced, according to Metro.co.UK. In an image snagged by the SITE, writing on the star calls Johnny Depp a “Phoney A** B****”.
Johnny Depp has countered the accusations of violence against Amber Heard by claiming that Amber Heard emotionally-abused him. In any case, it does not sound like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were not in a happy relationship, let alone a healthy one. The lawsuit is likely to continue to be a part of public discussions ahead of both of their next projects — the third Fantastic Beasts film for Johnny Depp, and the second Aquaman movie for Amber Heard.
