A Quiet Place: Day One has found its leads in Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o.
Paramount is moving full-steam ahead on its A Quiet Place spin-off from Pig helmer Michael Sarnoski. Deadline reports that Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o have joined the cast of A Quiet Place: Day One, which is based on an original idea by John Krasinski, the director behind the first two A Quiet Place movies.
Joseph Quinn rose to fame thanks to his role as Eddie Munson in the fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things. His character, who appeared in eight season four episodes but met his end in the Upside Down, became an instant fan-favorite, catapulting the 28-year-old into stardom.
Lupita Nyong’o made her feature film debut with 2013’s 12 Years a Slave, with her work earning her an Academy Award in the Best Suporting Actress category. She was most recently seen in the Marvel Studios feature Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, reprising her role as Nakia.
How is John Krasinki involved?
John Krasinki is producing A Quiet Place: Day One alongside Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. Krasinski is also working on a direct sequel to the second A Quiet Place film. The sequel does not yet have a release date but is expected to arrive sometime in 2025.
A Quiet Place: Day One is currently slated to hit theaters on March 8, 2024. Stay tuned for more news from the Quit Place universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
