Josh Gad Asks Daisy Ridley ‘Who Are The Last Jedi?’

Last Jedi
Earlier this week, Lucasfilm revealed the next chapter in the Skywalker Saga was officially titled Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi. The reveal itself came as a major relief that it wasn’t the rumored ‘Forces of Destiny’ title but left us and many other fans speculating over whether or not the ominous title referred to Luke Skywalker, Rey, or both as Jedi can mean both singular and plural.

Currently, Daisy Ridley is filming Murder on the Orient Express and luckily for us her co-star Josh Gad wants to know just as bad as we do. The actor uploaded a hilarious video to Instagram this morning where he summoned Ridley to his trailer to try and get an answer out of her. The caption reads:

“I invited #daisyridley to my trailer under false pretenses. #NotARehearsal #IWantTheTruth #TheLastJedi”

Unfortunately, Ridley has been trained by the very best at Lucasfilm to be able to dodge these kinds of questions and not reveal anything about the upcoming film but that didn’t stop Gad from trying. When Gad asks “Who are the last Jedi?”, Ridley simply responds with “We’re not doing this, Josh”.

While Gad was unsuccessful in his attempt to get an answer out of Ridley, we do appreciate his valiant effort. For now, it looks like we’ll be left to speculate until December. Check out the video below.
