A brand new reshoot change from Justice League conducted by Joss Whedon has been revealed.
The production of Justice League will go down as one of the most interesting and convoluted cinematic projects to have ever been conducted. Zack Snyder, the original director of Justice League, stepped away from the role due to a family tragedy. In doing so, the keys of Justice League were handed down to Joss Whedon, the artist who brought fans The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Joss Whedon seemed to be the perfect man for the job as he perfectly launched a superhero team-up film years prior and had a wide breath of knowledge of the source material.
Unfortunately, things didn’t pan out the way fans and critics wanted it to as Justice League ended up becoming a Frankenstein’s monster of a film with conflicting tones and awkward editing. Joss Whedon also conducted reshoots that he added into the theatrical version of Justice League. More than two years have passed since the film’s initial release and fans are still discovering the changes made by Joss Whedon. A fan was able to find a change Joss Whedon made with Justice League that involved the Batcave and Bruce Wayne’s aerospace hanger. The change was signalled by Zack Snyder on his Vero account.

Joss Whedon essentially spliced together two scenes, which goes against the theatrical thread Zack Snyder had created. These reshoots also undermine what Zack Snyder had created in favor of something that’s more streamlined, but not necessarily optimal to the narrative at hand. If the Zack Snyder cut ever sees the light of day, fans can hopefully expect Joss Whedon’s vision/ideas to be removed in favor of a Justice League that fits within the previous films in the DCEU.
