Jude Law is in talks to play Captain Hook in Disney’s live-action Peter Pan remake.
Disney is gearing up for their next live-action remake of one of their beloved animated films. Peter Pan and Wendy will be directed by Pete’s Dragon helmer David Lowery with a script he co-wrote with Toby Halbrook. So far, we know that Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson will star as Peter Pan and Wendy in the live-action remake from Disney.
Variety is now reporting that Jude Law is in talks to play the villainous Captain Hook in the upcoming Peter Pan and Wendy film. If Law were to sign on, he would join actors like Dustin Hoffman and Jason Isaacs who have played the traditional Captain Hook in previous iterations. Garrett Hedlund also most recently played a younger Captain Hook in the Peter Pan prequel from Warner Bros.
