‘Jumanji’: Dwayne Johnson Teases Action Scenes In New Set Photos

'Jumanji': Dwayne Johnson teases action scenes in new set photos. We also get a glimpse into the world of Jumanji outside of the jungle.

If anyone were to venture into the jungle, then Dwayne Johnson is the man you’d probably want on your side. After all, entering the jungle in Jumanji may prove to be more than one person can handle.

Johnson, who enjoys posting pictures from the sets of his movies, recently posted to Instagram. The Jumanji picture involves Johnson and a stunt man in the middle of what looks like a bazaar. According to Johnson’s caption, the scene takes place in the world of Jumanji itself. We’ve already seen some of it, but only the jungle aspect, the trees and whatnot. This reveal comes as a nice surprise because it confirms that there are people living in this world and not just animals roaming around.

You can check out the Jumanji picture below. Johnson is locked in a fight with someone even bigger and bulkier than he is.

Been shooting #Jumanji for months now and I've been waiting patiently for this night to come… In the original movie, the world of #Jumanji came to us. Now 20yrs later in our continuation of the story, we go to the amazing and deadly world of #Jumanji. For months we've shot everything.. all the comedy, all the jungle action and all the heart. Finally, tonight – Saturday night – all night – I get to knuckle up with my stunt brothers and I get to beat some ass like a drum. My stunt brother here @taitfletcher is going night night. And when he wakes up, I'll be good as gone cause he can rearrange my face with one punch. Let's get it on boys and have some fun. #OnSet #KnuckleUp #BeatingAssesLikeDrums #BeenWaitingForMonths #StuntBrotherLuv #Jumanji #Tonights4YouAlanParrish💫

In another photo Johnson posted, he’s also in full costume once more, but this time he’s standing over two stunt guys, towering over one of them while looking ready to beat the other one. The scene, compared to the one above, looks more gritty and the atmosphere much darker. It also doesn’t look like the bazaar pictured above. In the picture following the one below, Johnson is pictured throwing a stunt man across the room.

Jumanji also stars Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Nick Jonas, and Bobby Cannavale. It hits theaters December 22, 2017.
