Junkie XL has confirmed he will indeed score Godzilla vs. Kong, the culmination of Legendary’s cinematic MonsterVerse.
Junkie XL, also known as Tom Holkenborg was recently reported to have signed on for the film. The composer is best known for his work on Mad Max: Fury Road and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He will also serve as the composer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League which will release on HBO Max sometime in 2021.
Holkenborg took to Twitter to confirm his involvement with the upcoming Godzilla film.
Looks like the monster is out of the bag.

Plot details for Godzilla vs. Kong remain under wraps, however, the two titans are set to collide with each other for the epic crossover event which director Adam Wingard recently confirmed will be rated PG-13. The film was previously set to hit theaters on November 20, 2020, but has since been delayed to May 21, 2021, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Alexander Skarsgård, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, and Brian Tyree Henry, Demian Bichir, Rebecca Hall, Jessica Henwick, Lance Reddick, and Kyle Chandler.
