Bryce Dallas Howard has shared the first photo of The Get Down star Justice Smith on the set of the upcoming Jurassic World sequel which is being directed by J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls). You can check out the image below.

Smith’s role in the film remains a mystery along with the plot details which are still under wraps but the film will continue the storyline of weaponized dinosaurs introduced in 2015 with Jurassic World with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard returning as Owen and Claire.

Jeff Goldblum who played the self-professed “chaotician” Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park will also be returning for the sequel along with BD Wong who will once again appear as Dr. Henry Wu.

The sequel has also added Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Ted Levine, Daniella Pineda, and Geraldine Chaplin. James Cromwell has also signed on to play John Hammond’s partner at InGen, Benjamin Lockwood.

Executive producing the project is Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow along with Steven Spielberg and producers Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley, and Belén Atienza. Trevorrow also co-write the script with his writing partner Derek Connolly.

Jurassic World 2 is slated to hit theaters on June 22, 2018. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the Jurassic sequel as we learn it.
