The first trailer for Jurassic World Dominion features the original trio back.
Nostalgia alert! The debut trailer from Universal’s Jurassic World Dominion is finally out and it’s brought with it some member berries. The last time we visited Jurassic World in Fallen Kingdom, we saw the dinosaurs unleashed upon the world. Now, man must deal with its most nefarious of foes on a daily basis. It’s a concept we haven’t seen explored in the Jurassic films before, so it’ll be exciting to see if the threequel goes down the route of eradicating the dinosaurs, creating safe havens like wild parks, or simply opting to co-exist with them.
Of course, audiences don’t just need an interesting concept to draw them into cinemas, they need member berries. The threequel, directed by Colin Trevorrow, will see Sam Neil, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum share the screen once again as they help Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s heroes. The last time the iconic trio shared the screen was in 1993’s Jurassic Park, which started this whole shindig.
With Superbowl Sunday on the horizon, Universal has debuted the first trailer for the threequel. We see the world struggling to exist with dinosaurs, as well as Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s characters secretly sheltering some creatures, implying that dinosaurs are being hunted. How do Dr. Allen Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler, and Dr. Ian Malcolm factor into this new world? Only time will tell.
Here is the synopsis for the most recent film in the franchise, Fallen Kingdom:
Three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that’s about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.
Fallen Kingdom is available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD, while Dominion will hit theaters on June 10, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the franchise’s future, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
