Stunt coordinator Freddy Bouciegues released a behind-the-scenes video of a deleted Justice League scene involving Ben Affleck’s Batman

Among the many scenes intended for the original cut of Justice League was a sequence in which Ben Affleck’s Batman confronts Parademons in the Gotham tunnels. The sequence first came to the attention of fans through Justice League concept art and Zack Snyder himself revealed the scene with Ben Affleck’s Batman was cut because it was deemed “too scary” for audiences.

Now, Stunt coordinator Freddy Bouciegues has released a video designed with fight coordinator Matt Rugetti that gives fans a hint at what the fight scene with Ben Affleck’s Batman would have looked like had it not been cut. The video combines fight test footage of Ben Affleck’s stunt double, Richard Cetrone, as Batman with pre-vis footage to create a scene in which the Dark Knight discovers a cacoon containing a parademon before a battle between the two ensues.

You can watch the video below to get an idea of what the deleted Justice League scene with Ben Affleck’s Batman would have looked like below!

Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
