‘Justice League’ Star Ray Fisher Posts Random ‘Batman v Superman’ Quote On Twitter

Justice League Ray Fisher Batman Superman

Justice League star Ray Fisher recently posted a random quote from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice to his social media.

The post came Friday via Ray Fisher’s personal Twitter page. The actor, who played Cyborg in Justice League, quoted Diane Lane’s Martha Kent from the previous film in the Zack Snyder DC universe, Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice:

 “You don’t owe this world a thing—you never did…” .”

Of course, the quote comes from the scene in Batman V. Superman wherein Ma Kent tells Clark, aka Superman, aka Henry Cavill, he can either be the hero the world needs him to be or not. He does not owe the world anything, therefore he can do or not do whatever he wants.

Knowing the context of the Batman V. Superman quote makes the post by Ray Fisher even more interesting. What is more is that it is a quote that does not even stem from the film that the actor is in, Justice League. What could the actor be referencing with his tweet?

What do you think is the meaning behind the seemingly random quote? Sound off in the comments below and let us know!

Here’s the official synopsis for Justice League:

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
